Ingen Vanlig Dag by Emelie Lidehall Oberg is a book of 20 colourable postcards. It is only available in this format and not as a full sized colouring book unlike her previous book Sagolikt which is available in both formats. The postcards are thick creamy off-white cardstock printed with crisp black lineart. The book is gluebound and the postcards are easy for you to tear out when you have finished colouring and have room on the back for you to write a message, lines to write the address and a little envelope to mark where to stick your stamp.

The designs are delightful and whimsical in nature with flowers, houses, cakes, birds, animals some with messages. Some of the messages are in English such as Happy Birthday and Lots of Love! Others are in Swedish such as Tack (meaning Thanks) and Karlek (love), while others such as grattis (congratulations) and Hurra (Hooray) sound similar enough to their English counterparts that you can guess their meaning.

I loved colouring this cute little house. I used Prismacolor Premier Pencils and a white Posca paint pen to add highlights.

At the moment Ingen Vanlig Dag is only available to purchase from Sweden. You can purchase it from www.printworksmarket.com

I was kindly sent a copy from the Swedish Publisher, however all thoughts and comments expressed are my own honest opinion.

Also available by Emelie Lidehall Oberg from www.printworksmarket.com.

Hem Ljuva Hem is a poster book, Sagolikt is a colouring book and the other three are colouring postcard books. Sagor Och Sagner is Emelie’s new hardbacked colouring book and you can find my review of it on this site.

Also Sagolikt Colouring Book is available in English as Fairy Tales.
