Amelia’s Colourful Colouring Companion – Amelia Gregory.
This book is unlike any of the other 30 something colouring books I own, it is totally unique. Featuring the work of forty-four artists, each of whom has drawn a double page spread – the left hand page is coloured by the artist while the right is left for you to colour the rest of the image.
It has something for everybody: cute, quirky, retro, abstract, comical and the weird and wonderful – and it’s so much fun to colour the different styles. The paper is gorgeous and thick – you could easily watercolour on this, and the pages lay flat so you can colour right into the seam easily so there’s no bit you struggle to get too. It also has a stiff card cover. It feels as special as it is. This has been thoughtfully and lovingly put together by Amelia Gregory and I love it’s unusual and quirky style. I highly recommend this one.
NB: even though I was given a copy to colour and promote by Amelia, the view and opinion expressed is my own and I would not have agreed to do this if I did not believe in the book.
